If and when an earthquake happens, here's what you have to do to survive!
CHILL AND PROTECT YOURSELF: stay calm, stay alive
1. Stay calm and don't panic. 2. If you are in a room: a. First, stop everything you are doing and drop everything you are holding. b. Afterwards, go under a table or anything sturdy. c. Make sure to cover your nape and your head. d. Lastly, hold on to something sturdy. e. Stay away from, ceiling fans, lights, and anything else that could fall on you. 3. If you are in an open place: a. Try to find a building edge that you can hold on to. b. Stay away from posts and other big obstructions that could fall on you. 4. Once the shaking stops, grab your GoPack (if accesible). 5. Briskly walk to the nearest safe zone. 6. If there are falling debris, find another place you can go to. 7. If the ground near you is cracking, get away from that area. 8. If something falls on you or you get trapped somewhere: a. Use your whistle or your flashlight to call attention. b. If you have your phone, call for help.
